Yingzhe Li, a master acupuncturist in NJ and NY states, a professor in Touro College, NY, a medical doctor in China who practiced both Chinese herbal medicine, acupuncture and western medicine since 1984. Dr. Yingzhe Li received eight years medical education in both Chinese medicine and modern western medicine. Dr. Li has been practicing integrative medicine for over 20 years, among which 10 years are spent in the United States. Right now she practices acupuncture and Chinese medicine in NY and NJ and also teaches in Touro College for their Acupuncture - Chinese Medicine Program. Dr. Li earned her first degree in medicine from a 5 years fulltime medical school-Henan college of TCM that is MD equivalency in USA and graduated as a honored student in 1984. Dr. Li is also a graduate majored in combined Chinese medicine and western medicine from Guangzhou University of TCM--one of the best medical universities in China, where she conducted another 3 years advanced study and research on the treatment and prevention of cardiovascular disease with the methods of traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture and modern western medicine. Professional Activities Dr. Li got strict training in gynecology, internal medicine, acupuncture and herbology therapy and worked as attending physician in inpatient and outpatient departments of neurology, acupuncture & physiotherapy, general medicine, and cardiovascular medicine in different hospitals. Dr. Li treated a lot of patients (usually see 20-40 patients a day in China) by using acupuncture, Chinese medicine, and western medicine. Her patients are with wide range complains from facial paralysis to migraine, from PMS to stroke, etc. Dr. Li successfully treated her patients and enjoyed a very good reputation among them. Dr. Li was a lecturer taught Chinese medicine: Acupuncture, herbal formulas, basic theory of TCM in medical schools. She was also an instructor for medical students (some were foreign students) while her daily working in hospitals. Dr. Li was a main member of the research team in Guangzhou university of TCM on prevention and treatment of hypertension and coronary heart disease, did researches clinically and laboratorial. She published papers on those studies and was invited to attend many conferences nationally and internationally.
